To support our ongoing sustainability journey as part of our Zero Waste purpose, we partner with Verdn so that all loyalty members can use their points for purpose and track the impact that they have made throughout the year.

This year, for every $50 you spend over the Black Friday sales period, we will pay to recover 1KG of ocean-bound plastic.

This weekend we will pay to recover 1KG of ocean-bound plastic for every order (the equivalent of 80 bottles).

Who are Verdn?

Verdn founders, Chris and Rory, first met at university and have both spent several years in the green-tech space. Using their unrivalled experience, they have created a service that empowers consumers and companies to have a positive impact by letting them support valuable sustainable causes like ocean plastic clean-ups, mangrove tree planting and coral restoration. And this impact does not stop there. Ocean-bound plastic recovery

Every year and estimated 8 million tonnes of plastic ends up in our ocean, a figure that by 2050 could mean that there will be more plastic than fish in our ocean by weight. By collecting this plastic before it is lost at sea, it can instead be recycled, upcycled, or used for energy.

Verdn partner with Empower who create innovative solutions to the plastic waste problem by giving plastic a value – enabling collectors, recyclers, brands, and consumers to make a real impact on the environment.

Empower are helping to clean up the world while fighting poverty by providing a crucial income to local waste pickers living in disadvantaged communities. Together with NGOs and charities, they set up collection points that issue financial rewards in exchange for plastic deposits. This plastic is then digitally registered so that it can be traced back up the supply chain.

It may seem like a drop in the ocean, but your ongoing support today is helping to shape a cleaner tomorrow.
